Does Heartbreak Teach You to Learn From Past Mistakes?

Does heartbreak really prepare us for future relationships? What can one do after a breakup? Become infallible or insensitive? Avoid commitment? Turn sarcastic about life, and scorn other lovers?

If you are recuperating from a breakup, use this time to reconstruct your life. Meet old friends, make time for family reunions, or keep a pet.

Breakups are tough; no doubt. But breakups should not erode your faith in relationships. If you have gone through a bad breakup, take it on the chin. Don't be so embittered that you give up looking for a partner. Instead, find the courage to move on. Moving on means coming to terms with failure and seeking new love.

Love will blossom again. Give it a chance. You might do much better, and find a partner who is perfect for you. The fear of heartbreak is not worth losing sleep over. The risk of breakup will always exist, but if you are strong you will rebound. Every gaping hole can be plugged, if you try.
