Twelfth Night

Quotes from Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare

By , About.com Guide

In the play Twelfth Night, Shakespeare employs the usual mechanisms of a Shakespeare comedy. It has the regular contraptions of mistaken identities, romantic triangles, change of gender through disguise, and more. Often the play gets into bawdy humor with shades of trickery. No wonder Twelfth Night is popular entertainment.
